Deborah Houdeshell is superintendent of the Canton Water Reclamation Facility. She is looking forward to interacting with water professionals from across the world and to seeing old friends and making new ones at WEFTEC 2021 in Chicago. Deborah says WEFTEC is the one place to learn about new technologies, share ideas, and find out what is happening in the water sector.

Shawn Heselton

Shawn Heselton of Hampton Roads Sanitation District says that he is excited to attend WEFTEC in Chicago because while we are in the water business, we are also in the business of forging connections and building relationships. He says WEFTEC is the one-stop shop for educational opportunities, networking, keeping up with technology, and watching the best of the best at Operations Challenge.

Meet Bernadette Drouhard, Junior Level Process Engineer, Black & Veatch, and Maria Claudia Reed, Civil Engineer, Brown & Caldwell. They met first met at the WEFTEC Community Service project and have been friends ever since. WEFTEC is where the water community comes together. All the opportunities that WEFTEC offers make us better water professionals and better humans, and that’s what makes WEFTEC so special.

Rebecca West of AECOM is ready to be a part of WEFTEC! She is ready to be a part of the community service project, to attend technical sessions to share and learn water knowledge, to be in the exhibit hall, to network, and to see old friends and meet new friends.
