Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core principles to the Water Environment Federation's mission. We are committed to creating an organization that acknowledges and celebrates our unique differences and that includes bringing you a full slate of DEI programming at WEFTEC.
The scholarship program, Introducing Future Leaders to Opportunities in Water (InFLOW), will return to WEFTEC 2021 for its fourth year to continue to enhance diversity and inclusion in the water sector.
Every individual who attends WEFTEC 2021 in Chicago will be required to provide either proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 or results of a negative test for COVID-19 obtained no more than 48 hours before arrival at registration to pick up credentials. These new requirements are in addition to the City of Chicago’s current indoor mask mandate.
WEFTEC always changes a little from year to year; and WEFTEC 2021 will be no different. The focus this year will be reuniting the water sector in person to make purposeful connections; create and discuss ideas with each other; and explore equipment, tools, and solutions with expert guidance.

Following the highly informative and comprehensive session, The Future of Water Policy — The National Perspective, by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at WEFTEC Connect, WEF and the agency have planned a special follow-up webcast for October 19, 2020, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. EDT.
