The deadline to request meeting space from WEF at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and/or the Hilton Riverside (headquarters hotel) has passed. WEF IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING MEETING SPACE REQUESTS.

 

Rules for Affiliated Functions:
  • Space at either the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center or the Hilton Riverside (headquarters hotel) is available for reservation through WEF starting April 30 through July 12, 2024.
  • WEF Member Associations and WEFTEC Exhibiting Companies & Sponsors are welcome to host one-time meetings, receptions, and hospitality events during WEFTEC 2024.
  • Product displays are prohibited in locations outside of the official exhibit hall at the convention center.
  • Affiliated functions will not be scheduled during the core WEFTEC program hours:

Sunday, October 6 No restrictions
Monday, October 7 Restricted 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 8 Restricted 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 9 Restricted 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Exceptions can be made to accommodate training meetings for exhibiting companies’ personnel or manufacturers’ representatives. Note: companies/organizations cannot hold meeting space all-day and/or over multiple days for customer meetings or employee break rooms.

Reservation deadline: July 12, 2024

There is no cost to reserve meeting space through WEF (no sublease fee).

  • WEF staff will review, assign, and confirm space, starting in mid-May through mid-July. New Orleans Morial Convention Center = Deana Gissendanner Hilton Riverside = Catherine Murphy
  • After your meeting space assignment is confirmed, you will work directly with the Convention Center, Hilton Riverside, and/or other suppliers to order and pay for audio-visual equipment, catering, et cetera.
Other Options:
  • Use New Orleans & Company’s Venue Search Tool to explore a curated selection of restaurants, attractions, and special event venues.
