The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has partnered with Convention Management Resources (CMR) as the official provider of WEFTEC Housing services.
CMR has managed WEFTEC Housing behalf of WEF for over 20 years. WEF does not authorize or endorse any other housing service or independent broker. Reservations at the negotiated WEFTEC rates can only be made through CMR.
Look Before You Book!
Hotel Reservation Scam Warning
Some companies may call or email WEFTEC attendees and offer to book hotel rooms.
The only official WEFTEC housing provider is CMR.
If you book a room with any company other than CMR, WEF and CMR cannot protect your reservation. Problems can include:
- Higher prices
- Extra fees
- A hotel not in the official WEFTEC room block (you may not have WEFTEC shuttle service)
- Your reservation is not real, is changed, or is canceled
- You lose money you paid (deposit or pre-payment)
WEF and CMR cannot help with problems from reservations made with other companies. If someone contacts you and asks you to book your hotel through them, be careful. WEF did not give your contact information to outside housing or travel companies.
What to Do
- Book your hotel only through the official WEFTEC Housing link on this WEFTEC website.
- Do not share your credit card information with unknown callers or emails.
- If you are not sure, contact CMR before you book.
