On September 28, Dusti Lowndes, Director of Emergency Management for DC Water (Washington, D.C.) and Chair of the WEF Safety, Cyber and Infrastructure Security Community spoke to Natarajan in advance of WEFTEC 2023. They discussed risks faced by the water and wastewater sector and what resources CISA can offer to help mitigate those risks. They also talked about what's next for the collaboration between the water and wastewater sector and CISA.
