What Does It Cost?
Member pricing is based on each person’s individual membership status at the time of registration. Though your institution may be a member of WEF, you must maintain an individual WEF membership to be eligible to receive the member rate.

**To qualify for the Student Nonmember rate, you must provide proof of enrollment in a minimum of six (6) credit hours at an accredited college or university and provide written documentation on school letterhead, verifying your student status.

Meals are not included with conference registration. Concession areas and food trucks will be open at the convention center.
Workshops, Facility Tours, and other events like the WEF Community Service Project and Jammin’4Water are not included with the conference registration and require an additional fee. S
Guest/Spouse Registration
A guest is a spouse, significant other, friend, or adult child who is not in an industry-related occupation, volunteer, or appointed position. A co-worker or an associate within the industry may not use the guest registration.
Only one guest allowed per registration. Each guest must be registered with a conference attendee. Guests cannot register on their own.
Guest Registration includes access to the exhibition only (September 28-30). If a guest plans to attend any educational programming, they must register for the Full Conference.
Payment Terms
All conference registrations are processed by Maritz Global Events, WEF’s official registration company.
- Full payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express) is due when you register.
- Checks, purchase orders, wire transfers and cash are not accepted.
Confirmation Receipt: Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an immediate confirmation email from Maritz Global Events. Your confirmation serves as your receipt.
Cancellations, Substitutions, and Refunds
All cancellations and substitutions must be received in writing and sent to Maritz Global Events.
- Written notice of cancellation is required and must be submitted by August 26, 2026. A service fee of 25% will be retained for all cancellations.
- Refunds are not available after August 26, 2026. Cancellations received after this date, as well as registrants who do not attend the conference, will be responsible for the full registration fees.
Substitutions: Instead of cancelling, we kindly encourage attendees to designate an alternate representative. An organization may submit a request to substitute one person for another in writing prior to August 26, 2026.
Note: If you paid the member rate, but your substitute is a non-member, the substitute will need to pay the difference in cost; however, if the substitute rate is lower than what you originally paid, you will not receive a difference in the price.
Badge Pickup
Badges are not mailed in advance. Badge Pickup for pre-registered attendees and exhibitors is available at four locations [Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY), Hilton Riverside Hotel, Marriott New Orleans Hotel and the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center] during the dates and times listed below. You do not have to be a hotel guest to pick up your badge at the Hilton Riverside or Marriott. No financial transactions or registration modifications are available at the Badge Pickup locations.
- Each registrant must pick up their own badge. You cannot pickup a badge on behalf of someone else.
- Please bring your confirmation email with you to the conference to scan the QR code from your smartphone or tablet.
Full Service Registration
While onsite registration will be available at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during the Full-Service registration hours shown below, we strongly encourage you to register before WEFTEC 2026. If you require assistance with registration, please visit exhibitor or attendee customer service at the convention center.

After receiving your badge: you are required to wear the official WEFTEC name badge to gain entry into the exhibition area and education programs. Badge sharing, or trading and badge reprints are strictly prohibited.
Lost Badges: WEF has instituted a badge replacement cost to defray costs associated with the rising volume of badge replacements. If you lose your badge, please go to any one of the Customer Service counters at the Convention Center.
Letter of Invitation
Conference participants who require an invitation letter to enter the United States must first register and pay for the conference before a Letter of Invitation will be issued. You may request a Letter of Invitation as you register for WEFTEC.
Once your registration is complete, your Letter of Invitation will automatically be sent to the email provided during registration. Print copies will be mailed only at the requesting conference attendee’s expense. UPS or FedEx account number must be provided by the participant in order to receive a print copy of the Letter of Invitation.
