Join WEF as we celebrate all this year’s award recipients at the WEF Awards and Presidential Ceremony and Celebration.
On Wednesday, October 7 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. EDT, WEF will recognize and congratulate the 2020 WEF Award winners and WEF Fellows on their accomplishments. These awards include recognitions for
- the 15 WEF Fellows inducted this year,
- Industrial Wastewater Management Research,
- Water Professionals, Organizations for Service and Contributions,
- Excellence in Water Infrastructure Operation and Design, and
- Public Education Work of Water Professionals, Organizations.
Also during the program, WEF 2019–2020 President Jackie Jarrell will share remarks and then "pass the gavel" to WEF 2020–202 President Lynn Broaddus, who will share her vision for the coming year.
Join Us for a Reception
Immediately following the Awards Ceremony, we will host a virtual reception where you can congratulate and engage with the award winners, WEF Fellows, incoming and outgoing presidents, Canham Scholarship recipient, and each other.
The virtual reception (5:45 to 6:30 p.m. EDT) will be hosted on the Remo platform. This instructional video on how to use the Remo platform will help you to make the most of the experience. For the optimal experience, Remo recommends using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers on a laptop or desktop computer as well as using a headset or headphones with a mic to reduce audio echoes and feedback.
