WEF is excited to once again offer exclusive opportunities to our exhibitors to participate in the technical education at WEFTEC! Help us educate WEFTEC participants technically while gaining additional exposure for your company. There are several different formats to select from:
The Equipment Demonstrations allow exhibitors to show how a piece of equipment works. WEF will bring operators to the exhibitor’s booth for a demonstration of the operation and maintenance of specific equipment.
The Stormwater Pavilion sessions will be located in the Stormwater Pavilion Theater and will be offered in two formats: the Case Study, open to all stormwater exhibitors, and the Lightening Round Presentations, open only to Stormwater Pavilion
The Mobile Sessions are in their fifth year and consistently rate highly in attendee satisfaction. These sessions, which are
focused around specific topics, allow WEF to bring attendees to selected booths to hear technical, educational presentations by exhibitor experts.
Click here to submit - all submissions must be received online by May 27 at 8:00 am Eastern. They will be reviewed by members of the Program Committee. Selection Criteria and details are available here . If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
WEFTEC Wants To Celebrate Your Ingenious Fixes
WEFTEC 2015 will host the fourth annual Ingenuity Contest. This competition recognizes that some innovations come not from a research lab but from the need to tackle a persistent problem with nothing more than the materials at hand and a hearty dose of ingenuity with a tweak here or a little fix there.
WEFTEC will showcase these imaginative, inventive, and effective ways you’ve found to overcome those pesky problems. Selected inventors will be invited to give 10-minute presentations.
The competition is open to all clever ideas related to treatment processes, collection systems, laboratory practices, stormwater, administration, human resources, you name it.
The bottom line: Even if you’re not sure that your innovation qualifies, submit it. Even if you can’t come to WEFTEC, please submit your idea as we will share them with lots of people!
So, throw together a roughly 1-page description of the problem you faced and the fix you found. If your invention or idea can be photographed, snap a picture and include that. Submitters do not have to write a full WEFTEC paper. What you provide in your submission is all that is needed in writing.
The Ingenuity Content submission portal is open now until June 5.
