Workshops

WEFTEC 2016 offers 29 workshops that cover a wide range of topics! These workshops offer the opportunity to learn about a specific topic in an in-depth, hands-on format.  The topics were selected through a rigorous process ensuring that those offered at WEFTEC are targeted, organized, and provide the most up-to-date information.  In addition, WEF follows strict guidelines so that the highest level of education credits (CEUs) can be awarded for all workshops.

WEFTEC 2017 Call for Workshop Proposals

Do you want to create a full day or half-day, highly interactive learning experience for the WEFTEC participant? Do you have knowledge on a topic that can engage an audience and receive the highest level of continuing education credit? Then think about submitting a WEFTEC Workshop Proposal for 2017. Submission of a workshop proposal is a multi-step process, starting with the Pre-Proposal.

Step 1: Fill out the Pre-Proposal Form by July 13th

Step 2: Send the Pre-Proposal Form to the relevant WEF Technical Committee(s) for input/sponsorship prior to the July 13th deadline, giving them adequate time to review. If you don’t know who to contact, email Mary Ann Linder at mlinder@wef.org for assistance. Some Technical Committees have special procedures for you to follow, please ask about this when you are submitting and make sure you follow their guidelines.

Step 3: Also by July 13th, send the Pre-Proposal Form to mlinder@wef.org

Step 4: After August 1st- come back to this page and download all the forms you will need to complete for the FULL Workshop Proposal.

Step 5: Complete the Full Workshop Proposal and submit by November 7th, 2016.
