Help Make a Difference! - Learn more about current and past projects
The WEF Community Service Project, organized by WEF’s Students & Young Professionals Committee (SYPC), offers WEFTEC attendees the opportunity to give back to the WEFTEC host community. This year’s service project was held on the grounds of City Hall in New Orleans, LA on September 24. Nearly 200 project volunteers constructed a bioswale and rain garden to help slow and filter stormwater runoff from a parking garage structure and building roof. The project will serve as an educational platform for the community to learn about water, the environment, and green infrastructure.
