General Information

WEFTEC 2014 will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana USA.

What's Included in the Booth Space?

  • Inline Spaces: 8' high back drape, 36" side dividers, 7" x 22" company sign (see IAEE Guidelines for definitions of booth types)
  • Shared Islands: 8' high back drape (see IAEE Guidelines for definitions of booth types)

The Exhibitor is responsible for providing all booth furnishings, including carpet, tables, chairs, etc. Electricity and other utility connections are not provided with the space but can be ordered through the Service Manual. Click here for a sample budget based on the 2013 service manual rates.

  • Booth Personnel registrations (badges), four per 100 square feet rented
  • Access to registration listings (pre-conference and post-show) once space is fully paid. Non-exhibiting companies may not purchase the use of this data.
  • Company listing in Conference Announcement*
  • Directory listing in official Mobile App and linked Exhibitor Directory, WEFTEC Preview issue of WE&T, and printed Conference Program*
  • Conference Proceedings
  • Exclusive access to promotional and success materials including attendee invitations, free webinars, PDF uploads, and other special offerings through the Exhibitor Service center
  • Exclusive advertising opportunities in WEF publications, on the WEFTEC website, and in the pre-conference emails sent to registered attendees

Cancellation Policy and Dates

Cancellations or reductions in space received February 1 through May 30 will be liable for 10% of the booth fee for the cancelled space; those received after May 30 will be liable for 100% of the booth fee for the cancelled space.

Exhibitors who need to make adjustments or cancel their space reservation are requested to call WEF at 1-703-684-2434. However, the cancellation is not effective until a written cancellation has been received from the exhibitor. Cancellations sent via facsimile (1-703-684-2482) or email (weftecsales@wef.org) will be accepted.

Private Demo Hours

The exhibition hall private demo hours are set up so exhibitors may meet with clients without the booth traffic of normal exhibit hours. Exhibitors are encouraged to take advantage of these hours on the show floor to host receptions. For information on how to order catering for your reception, please visit the specialty contractors page of the Exhibitor Service Manual (available Spring, 2014).

Installation/Move-In Hours

Exhibitors or EAC personnel access earlier than the official start of move-in at 7:30 am, Wednesday, September 24 - for instance, to confirm orders on the show floor - must request access by directly contacting show management prior to arrival at show site.

All exhibit and EAC entering the hall must be badged. After 5:00 pm, Wednesday, September 24 - Saturday September 27, Security will not grant exhibit hall access to badged exhibit booth personnel and EAC personnel. However, personnel already on the floor may remain without in/out access privileges to complete work in progress, if cleared by appropriate personnel.

*Major booth setup must be completed on Sunday, September 28, by 3:00 pm, in order to begin preparing for laying aisle carpet. This means that all aisles and booths must be clear of boxes and crates, any Empties should have been labeled and pulled earlier in the day, and booths in a final preparation stage.

Dismantling/Move-Out Hours 

Wednesday, October 1 5:01 pm - 11:00 pm
Thursday, October 2 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday, October 3 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

During move-out hours on Wednesday, October 1, exhibitors may leave after 5:01 pm and will be re-admitted until 8:00 pm in order to allow for the return of empty crates and boxes.
