Shimadzu’s TNPC-4110 Series online analyzers are capable of measuring Total Nitrogen (TN) and Total Phosphorus (TP) in water. Easy-to-handle and simple-to-maintain, the TNPC-4110 analyzers are intended for use as automatic water analyzers for the water quality regulations currently being prepared for implementation governing TN and TP. These nutrients are monitored as indicators of the harmful effects of eutrophication of water, which leads to algae growth and red tide. These growths result in insufficient dissolved oxygen in the water and a decrease in aquatic organism.

A complete system capable of sampling, pretreating, digesting, and analyzing samples automatically, the TNPC-4110 saves time and labor and eliminates potential sample prep errors. In addition, the analyzers offer a number of capital as well as operational cost-reducing features, such as the ability to analyze multiple streams & parameters without bringing samples to the laboratory, and the elimination of expensive filters when analyzing particulated sample streams with the use of the optional “Sample Thief.”

These models incorporate automatic calibration using standard on-board solutions as well as user-defined calibration checks and measurement conditions. Measurement ranges from ppb level to thousands of ppm for TN, TP, and TOC, which can also be monitored on the optional TNPC-4110(C) Series.
