Linear Motion Mixer (LM™ Mixer)

Unlike other mixer systems, the Linear Motion (LM) Mixer produces isotropic mixing due to the combined effect of oscillating velocity coupled with pulsating pressure waves. This motion is created by the controlled up and down movement of a thin donut shaped Hydro-Disk driven by a carefully engineered and robustly designed Scotch Yoke & Cam follower drive powered by a gear motor. Current mixers presently used within the industry consume a large portion of power to “stir” the liquid. This stirring action causes a circular motion to the fluid and explains why such a large amount of power is required to mix fluid. Eimco Water Technologies’ Linear Electro-Dewatering solutions revolutionize the way water is extracted from industrial and municipal sludge. Our Cinetik™ Line of Products extracts water more efficiently and at a much lower cost than currently available processes because, unlike heat based dryers and incinerators, the Cinetik™ technology does not evaporate the water; it relies on the combined action of a controlled mechanical pressure and electro-osmosis, where an electrical field generated inside the sludge liberates and carries away the water bonded to hydrophilic particles. When removed of their excess water and pathogens, sludge is turned into a valuable resource and can be reused as a fertilizer or as a renewable fuel source.
