Express Badge - Don’t Wait in Line!
Just like an airline e-ticket, now you can print your badge at the event using Express Badge. Name badges will not be mailed in advance unless otherwise requested. Pre-registered attendees and exhibitors who provide an email address when they register will receive a receipt/confirmation after submission. Please print this email and bring it with you to pick up your name badge and badge holder onsite. Your confirmation page will be scanned and your badge will be printed instantly! Please note: Photo ID (driver’s license, passport or government issued photo ID) will be required at check-in.
Onsite Registration Locations:
WEF’s main registration will be located in the Grand Concourse of McCormick Place. Express badge pickup counters will be located in the Main Lobby registration area, level 1 of the South and North Buildings and on Level 2.5 of the South Building.
Offsite Locations:
Express badge pick-up kiosks will be located at the Sheraton, Hilton and Hyatt Hotels on October 18 – 19, 2008 for your convenience.
Confirmations:
All registrants will receive a registration confirmation if their registration information is complete and they have paid the registration fees in full. Registrants should provide a current email address and fax number to ensure confirmation receipt. This document serves as both a receipt of payment and a confirmation that you are registered to attend WEFTEC.08.
Registrants who have paid in full will receive an express badge pick-up confirmation by email or fax, if requested, no later than Friday, October 10, 2008. Due to volume, WEF cannot confirm receipt of registration forms by phone. If you do not receive your confirmation, please call +1-708-486-0724 / Toll Free: +1-877-303-0724.
Student Badges will not be mailed. Students must report to the advance registration area with proper identification and verification of student status on school letterhead as proof of enrollment.
International Badges will not be mailed. Registrants outside of the U.S. and Canada must report to the advance registration area with proper identification to pick up badges.
- Online Registration: Web registrants will receive an immediate registration confirmation which will contain an official registration ID number along with confirmed payment information.
- Fax & Mail Registration: Registrants who register by mail or by fax will receive a confirmation via e-mail once the registration is processed.
Please note: Mailed registration forms with check payment may take up to 21 days to be processed. Confirmation will be faxed or mailed to those who do not supply an e-mail address. Incomplete registrations can not be processed.
Cancellations/Substitutions:
Cancellation/Substitution requests must be received in writing on or before September 19, 2008, to be honored. Substitutions for registered attendees may be made at any time prior to September 19, 2008. After September 19, 2008, substitutions must be processed onsite.
Cancelled registrations and ticked events will be refunded, less a 25% processing fee, until September 19, 2008. After September 19th, all registrations and ticketed events will be non-refundable. Badges and/or tickets received must accompany the cancelled request.
Note: To receive a replacement badge by mail, changes to badges that have already been mailed cannot be made unless the original badge is returned prior to September 19th. All badges and events tickets will be mailed after August 4, 2008.

Badge Corrections

WEF accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Wire Transfers*, Purchase Orders* and Check payments only. (Cash is accepted onsite only.) *Purchase Order/Wire Transfer: WEF charges a $25 non-refundable application fee per registrant to process a purchase order or wire transfer. (Purchase orders and Wire Transfers are not accepted onsite.)
